US, A Model to Canada Mortgage Industry

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - This is the second part of the article I've written in my last post: "First Step to Owning a Home in BC, Get Pre-Approved!"

Dominion Lending Centres in Canada had released through DLC News, an interesting article on mortgage which tackles about how mortgage industry in the US and Canada are doing and what the US mortgage brokerage business success meant to the Canadian public.

The United States mortgage industry and public in general, can take pride in knowing that about eighty five percent (85%) of all mortgages are processed through a mortgage broker. This indicates that majority of the homeowners and buyers are educated enough about the convenience of going through their brokers. They understand the process and benefits that go by consulting a broker.

Canada mortgage industry, however, is currently enjoying a brokers' market share of only about twenty four percent (24%). Not too bad, but quite behind the US.

The reason for being could be the impression that only borrowers with poor credit need to go through the broker's services and also the cost that goes with using a broker.

Hence, in Canada, every mortgage broker's endeavour today is to educate and inform the public about the integral advantages of using broker's services. Not to mention the savings from being able to get the best rate, which is usually lower than the posted bank rates. Finally, most of new mortgages processed through a broker is absolutely of no cost.

We hope that one day, we all get to the point when everyone is already confident and positive about what mortgage broker can do to make a difference in every borrower's need.

First Step to Owning a Home in BC, Get Pre-Approved!

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - The first-time home buyers are almost always enthusiastic and excited about the fact that perhaps by viewing different homes or hopping from one house to another, could be a good start to having an idea what sort of home they can invest or live in.

I don't have anything against this step. After all, there may be some people who could afford to put down a good and substantial initial outlay on the property they are buying. I guess, the idea here is, as long as you are doing financial self-assessment, you know where you are at and what your options are.

However, there are some people, with good credit score, but may not realize how much they can afford or whether they qualify. Sometimes, one couldn't help but wonder, "Could I really afford to buy that home I've just viewed? What If I do an offer but have no idea how much I could really get from the bank?  What sort of financing arrangement will I include in the offer...?" These may be just some of the questions of first-time buyers or there could be more...

To avoid such scenario, it is advisable that first-time buyers consult with a mortgage broker to help them identify their options and eligibility to home ownership.

Getting pre-approved is an integral, smart step and borrowers are most often than not, assured of the rate for sixty to ninety days. Mortgage brokers do help in shopping the best rate suited to your specific need. The pre-approval service is absolutely of no cost to you.

I welcome questions on any mortgage related matter. My clients enjoy the benefit of my expertise both as a REALTOR and Mortgage Expert.

BC Home Sellers Info - Why Seek an Advice

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - Home selling could be as rewarding as home owning. However, reasons and decision-factors vary.

When you own a property, some of the significant motivations for buying are: pride of ownership, investment value through equity and freedom from dealing with landlords. While some of the reasons for putting your home on the market could be: relocation or move, availing funds through equity or change in marital status. Of course, other personal reasons may exist.

Apparently many people find home selling to be a critical, tedious, long process to go through. It may be a difficult territory as there are certain questions to ask that one may not be familiar with. One couldn't just depend on others who are not real estate experts for specific information.

Helping you to understand the steps, evaluating and reviewing important legal documents, as well as functions of other real estate people who are involved in the transaction, are the obvious reasons for seeking an advice of a licensed real estate professional.

Real Estate Network, An Impressive PR Tool

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - Much appreciation is extended to the prime movers of this Real Estate Network Active Rain. Not only that it inspires real estate industry professionals but opens a great avenue to avid readers and fanatic users.

It's true that eversince the world of blogging began, one of the problems writers do face is what sort of topic to start with and explore, to stimulate others to respond or encourage discussion. Sometimes, one could get caught up with not much to say. Although there's that voice within you that tells you want to write. If you go online and start searching for sites that offer blogging, you will end up with quite a number of sites that host blogs. The question though is, "Is this the right place...? Will my target readers be interested in...? And so on...

I've found for myself that this real estate network is truly motivating and captivating. Relevant topics are centered to your defined readers and targeted market. Oh well, indeed, it's like bringing your product to the right market place at the right time. Sounds familiar? You bet, this is where and why we are here about. The ever popular and vital aspect of business: Marketing.

Interesting enough, the Active Rain real estate network is growing and getting stronger! Fellow network members would probably agree that this is, after all, a powerful and impressive PR and Marketing tool.

Kudos to the founders, staff and fellow members!

Have a Fruitful 2007!

Richmond, British Columbia, Canada - Let me join everyone in welcoming the year 2007!

It's the first day of the brand new year. I recall one striking mind principle which goes like:"We are what we think we are...Whatever we have accomplished so far is a product of our thoughts in the past." Indeed, we can only work on things that we have thought that we could do.

I have always believed on the power of positive thinking which should be the very foundation of how we live our life, pesonally and professionally. It is what we do affirmatively with any possible setback that come our way, that would draw the difference.

Well, it's time for planning to get to where we want to go. Gradually, any realistic small steps will lead us towards achieving our goals.

Have a very Prosperous, Blessed and Fruitful 2007, Everyone!
